How to cover a wall

This manual helps you creating your own in house Art Gallery! Follow the steps and make your neighbors jealous with your state of the art Myke Wall Design. 

 

All our Mykea Wall Designs are removable, so you can change your interior anytime you like. Our Wall Designs should leave your surface in the same condition it was in before application. Please use caution when removing the Wall Design. Because we are not aware of the condition of your surface we cannot be held responsible to any damage.

1. Smooth, Dry & Clean
Describe Step: 

To get your design on, you need a smooth, clean and dry surface. Use a dry cloth to get your wall ready. Don’t stick your Design on freshly painted walls (wait for two weeks)

2. Organize your design
Describe Step: 

Tape your design onto surface to see where and how to apply, before removing the backing. Some designs need special care by cutting loose the different design parts. When your

3. Some pressure
Describe Step: 

Before removing the backing you need to press your design onto the transfer tape. Use a hard surface, lay your design faced down and rub your squeegee (apply tool) over your Wall Design. Use some power to get the job done proper!

4. Backing off!
Describe Step: 

Now its time to remove the backing paper. Start at a corner and slowly role down the backing, your design needs to stick to the transfer tape. if not, roll back a bit, press the design to the transfer tape and resume to pull the backing off.

5. Get sticky!
Describe Step: 

Hold your design at the upper corners. Be careful don’t let is stick to itself. (if needed ask someone to help) smoothly press your design from one corner to the other to avoid wrinkles. Do this smoothly all the way down.

6. Transfer roll back
Describe Step: 

To remove the transfer tape start at one corner and slowly roll it back. Make sure your roll it along the surface. When your design sticks to the tape, STOP and roll back. Press the design onto the surface and roll back again. Smooth and gentle you go!

7. Nice Job!

Now take a step back and admire your own created wall design. (when air bubbles do appear just use a needle to let the air get away and then smooth it out with your hands)

2. Pell off
Describe Step: 

Lay your design on the ground or hard surface and slowly peel of the backing. Do this gently and without wrinkling. For larger designs ask a friend to help. We know it is exited but trust us you need a friend to help. Make sure your design does not stick together.

3. Get sticky
Describe Step: 

Press your design to your wall or other surface, using the soft side of the squeegee to attach it without wrinkles or air bubbles. Nice Job!!
